Important Instructions:
  • Composition: This template works using a Main Base where you can simply attach an adapter for the hinge size you need. In order for it to work you will need the base plate and at least one adapter.
  • Adapter Flexibility: With dedicated adapters for each hinge size, there's no need for separate jigs or cumbersome adjustments. Simply attach the appropriate adapter to suit your specific hinge.
  • Clamp Requirement: To secure the jig firmly to the door, clamps are necessary (clamps not included). This ensures stability during the routing process, preventing movement that can lead to inaccuracies.
  • Router bit and Guide Bush Requirement: This jig will only work with a 16mm Guide Bush and 1/2 Inch Router bit.
  • Chisel or Corner Punch : For perfectly squared hinge recess corners, it is recommended to have a chisel on hand.
